The nurse last night told me that Avery should be getting her breathing tube taken out today!!! She'll be a much happpier baby. Every time they were moving her, or she coughed, hiccuped, yawned, she'd cry, which also hurt. Thankfully they started to give her the continuous morphine and she's been able to relax and rest more. :)
Avery will just have oxygen coming through her nose is all. After a day of doing well off the vent, then she'll likely move to a moderate care room where I can sleep there if I want to.
A friend said I was looking great, of which I highly appreciate, and I must say the key is getting someone else to babysit your newborn around the clock so you can sleep. :) I've spared no expense. j/k I'm feeling well and take my pain meds like a good girl.

I woke up to a magpie calling outside my window, "caw, caw" and I thought of an old movie (from the 80's), "The Three Amigos" with Chevy Chase, Martin Short and Steve Martin. Rent it (if you haven't seen it) and see what made me laugh.

Yeah for Avery! I am glad to hear she is progressing so well. We can't wait to meet her.
Yay! Avery! Yay, Renae!!
I totally got the quote from your title before reading the post. I say that ALL the time to Quinten when I'm trying to get his attention. Love it!
Great to read such good news. Your blog is looking lovely.
I can't wait to see Avery without that breathing tube! It's like taking the wrapping off a package as Avery is slowly revealed without all the wires and tape.
