Good Friday

These photos were taken yesterday by Tanya Taylor Dunn (for all you Colorado Springs-ites). Avery has the CPAP machine on and clearly it would be uncomfortable.
The good news is that yesterday evening she got off the CPAP and is now on a regular high-flow nasal canula! We're both happier now. Avery was wide awake from at least 4 pm to 11 pm! She has big deep blue eyes and I hope that doesn't change.
On an x-ray taken Thursday morning, she had a part of her lung collapse, but this morning's showed an improvement (how much, I don't know).
Avery is getting food again today and, I'm sure, liking that.

Easter is almost here and my mom, Zachery and I colored some eggs yesterday morning. Zachery was very excited and wanted to do it all himself; he splashed some color around, but got the hang of it. :)

Oh Renae, she just gets cuter every day. She looks great. Praying that she continues to do well and that you get to take her home soon...

Hi to your Mom and Tanya! Happy Easter!

You must be so glad she gets a break from the CPAP. And she stayed awake for 7 hours, wow! How fun!

I'm so glad Avery is off that CPAP machine. She just looked so uncomfortable yesterday. Love those gorgeous eyes! She's so pretty (even with all the tubes in the way).

And Hello Aryn, it's been a long time!

We're so glad to hear she is doing well. I think it must be so frustrating to be told when to breathe. I'm glad she off CPAP. She looks wonderful. Have a great Easter. Ronald McDonald is great on the holidays. We pray for you always. Love,
Evan, Somer, Sadie, Ella, Maisy, and Jack
