So today, I got up early and ran around like crazy getting my room and bathroom at the Ron Mac H all cleaned, linens washed and food cleared out (and I was running literaly at one point). I did it, paid my bill, loaded the car and went to the hospital to get our Avery. Yay.
I was ready, and Avery was looking good too. I was ten minutes from walking out the door when...her exit blood test came back with a high potassium level. Basically they're trying to figure out why it's high and tweek the blood pressure medicine. This means possibly we leave tomorrow or Friday. :)
I did get my room back at the RMH and that's good. I'm grateful they found out here, before we left. :) Let's hope for the best! I was soooo close.

Oh Darnit! We are anxious for you guys to get home. We'll keep Avery in our prayers and hope they can get everything figured out...asap!
Too bad. Sorry you didn't quite make it. So glad you got your room back though. Avery has been in our prayers everyday. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

Renae, I'm so sorry. Evan and I were just talking about how that happens all too often. Off blood work or puzzling x-ray and they delay discharge. We're so sorry, but that means she'll be healthier at home. We love you and are praying for your whole family. Just a couple more days.
oh darn, I guess it was an April Fool's joke after all. (That was my first thought when I read your April 1st write-up. Yeah, yeah, I know... it's because I'm surrounded by kids!)

I'm glad she's doing so well, though, in spite of crazy blood work results.
