Sunday

We got Avery up in a stroller to go to the playroom today. She was playing with the toys and got so excited she stood up. Then she stood by the train table and shuffled back and forth. She finally had a productive situation in her pants, so we opted to have her walk back to her room. I held her hands but she did it!

Avery has been awake and herself since last night. I'd left her sleeping and when I got back 10 min. later, she was a changed girl. Sitting up, crawling over to get her sippy cup and laying back down! She was non-stop after that. Her moving around will help her get all the loose fluid drained and closer to her going home.

She's back!
Avery got so excited when she saw Zachery!  It really was cute.  We got Zach up in bed with her (Dora was on) and she just giggled and smiled.

Zach had a great week with his cousins Lauren and Parker!  He looks like he grew up a little too.  I missed him.

I couldn't resist hugging my chillins.

Avery loved playing with the telephone.  It's hard to see,but she has the phone perched on her shoulder, like any multi-tasking person does.  She was all over this playroom.  She was wobbly, but she was oblivious to that.  :)

*Avery has some lipids (kilus) amongst her lung drainage, so she needs a low fat diet for awhile.  Another wait and see day tomorrow.

**Last Friday, somewhere in the afternoon, I started thinking it was Tuesday.  I even planned to watch Lost in Avery's room that night.  When Avery went to sleep, I looked for it on tv and after 10 min., f-inally realized that it was Friday.

YEAH! I am so happy to hear that. What a good feeling it must be to see her up and moving and being herself. I hope things keep going well and that sweet Avery and you can come home soon.

I'm actually crying tears of relief and joy for you guys! I guess I've gotten a lot more sensitive over the past year. My heart goes out to her for having gone through so much! (And to you, too.)
I LOVE the picture of you and your kiddos!
So glad to hear she's on the mend and acting like herself.

What a sweet picture of your two kiddoes -- I loved it.

And I"m still laughing over 'the productive situation in her pants!' So happy she is doing well.
