Usually for Valentine's Day Eric and I enjoy a nice dinner, made by one of us or at a restaurant, AND must include a written note indicating one's affection for the other. :) I remember saying, "I need written proof that you love me."
Aside from this, we generally don't give gifts, ...until this year! We celebrated Valentine's Day on Friday and went out, just us (what a treat) and then to a movie (we saw "New in Town" which was pretty funny).
The best, best part of V day came on V day. Eric gave me my written love affirmation card, which was lovely! Then, under a basket of laundry was a, a, a, dyson! YAY, I love it!!! You must know that from the first time I saw a Dyson commercial, I wanted one. I do love a clean house and nothing says love like a powerful, ergonomic, vacuum. ;)

AWESOME!!! I love gifts like that, gifts that might be the wrong gift for someone, but they are perfect for us. A dyson is very sexy- Eric I am very happy you were smart enought to marry Renee!
I am so jealous! Steven's mom has a dyson that I borrow regularly to get my carpet REALLY clean. One Day...
How lucky!! I'm still waiting for my Dyson. Dean used to get me jewlery untill I convinced him that I would really rather have more practical gifts. After that I got my Kitchenaide mixer and a wheat grander attatchment.
Aren't they amazing?? (ya know, Dyson vacuum cleaners....well, and husbands too, I guess!!) How fun! I'm glad you had a special V day!
