Go West

Our trip to Colorado was crazy fun and we looooved it! Just ask Zachery about it and his highlights are: playing with cousins, jumping on the trampoline, swimming, playing ice hockey, carnival rides, at least. He got to spend quality time with his daddy and grandpa. Avery enjoyed some extra attention and practiced standing up on her own! Eric and I got to go out for our upcoming 7th anniversary (holy cow!). I ran a 10K with two of my brothers and a sis-in-law.

I'm going to post more later, but here is a few photos. (I am still on Colorado time and we slept til 9:15 this morning!!)

I like this picture, Eric looks good! Avery survived without extra oxygen, (we tried, but she freaked out and we couldn't even leave it on).


We went to a kid's amusement park, The North Pole (and that will get a post all on it's own). Zachery did NOT want to see Santa, but the miracle here is, although he protested up to this shot, obviously he did it!! He's getting over his shyness all the time.


This is Avery and her cousin, Maisy. They would wander to the piano at least once a day. Here I caught them playing together :). Maisy was also born with a heart defect and has come a long way. Maisy is a sweet girl and is growing up so fast! I played "Popcorn Popping" on the piano with her, and with that, became her friend.



These last photos were taken today at Zach's swimming lesson. He has come a long way since his first lesson. Even though he is not a good swimmer, he now loves to go. He is getting braver all the time, but still is so cautious. It is really funny to watch these kids.


Zach stopped to smile at the camera, kept them waiting :).
