We've had a wonderful holiday season, the best part spending time together. Eric's shrewd boss gave him a little time off. ;)
We had our first fire in the fireplace on Christmas eve. It was so nice and toasty, compared to our basement's usual chill.
We read the nativity story and instead of acting it out (as is my favorite tradition) Zachery used the nativity toys to play the parts. It turned out really well.
This has been a wonderful toy set for the holidays. Thanks, Avery!
Everytime we're at Meijer's shopping, little miss wants a ride on the "lorse".
I love this picture. It captures Avery's true nature, which is being silly. She's been wearing the binoculars for several weeks now. She's saying, "ta-da".
Zachery's Christmas program was memorable. The gym was paaaacked, and we found a place on the sidelines. Honestly it was cute and hilarious. Watching Zach sing and dance was the cute part, and watching all the kids dance was the funny part. Loved it.
Zach and his teach, Mrs. Kristie
Zach wanted pictures of him dancing, so here are a couple. He really got into it.
Grandpa Marks and Avery. We love it when grandpa comes!
I took the last of the Christmas decorations down yesterday and I must say it was sad. Ok, I still have a wreath on the inside of our front door, and that may stay. I think we'll, ok I'll, decorate before Thanksgiving next year. Why not?
Happy 2011
