Today was crazy and good. I'm worn out, but happy, and what a great way to end a day.
After an appointment for me, Avery's g-tube came out and I couldn't get it back in. Panicking a little I took her to the ped's surgeon's office. On the phone, they said to hurry, but when I got there, they didn't seem to think we needed to hurry. At least Avery was happy, even though she was past due to eat, yay. When we got started though, she cried the whole time and it took awhile to get it back in. Have you seen the dilaters/dialaters, they're smooth metal sticks of varying thickness. There were three of us holding and working with her and we were all sweating. Poor kid. Hallelujah it was put back in. Thank you Shelly for watching Zach for me!
About the g-tube though, it was my fault. The spirit was telling me to: 1) change her g-tube, 2) put her in a different outfit today (she had on one with a hole for her g-tube access and she kept messing with it) and 3) check the water in the g-tube balloon. It was horrible, just a little stressful, but I didn't heed to promptings I was given, soooooo lesson learned (again.) :).
Tonight I hosted a book club and had a great time. More than discussing the book, I love parties/social type stuff. I'm not an avid reader, but I do love book club. Fun night, great people!

What a scare! I never seem to get every prompting right...why do some come so easily while others are so vague? The lesson of life, I guess.
I'm finally getting through the Twilight series (they make me think of you and your author connection). I've read a ton of great books lately. I really don't know how I'm able to make time for them. I stay up too late. :) Are you on GoodReads?
How is it that I didn't know Avery HAD a G-tube?! I knew once upon a time she had an NG-tube(didn't she, or am I remembering that wrong?), wow, now I have someone to talk to!!! Get ready for my questions! :)
So... what kind does she have and what do you dress her in?
