Pictures, Stickers and a Backpack

It's only taken a year, but we finally got some pictures on the wall at home. :) Eric and I had to negotiate about one going up in particular. I wanted it, he didn't (because of the frame), so I let some fake green ivy go and up the picture went.
All in all, we're not happy with how it all looks, because some of our stuff looks dated. What we really could use is Candace Olson from Divine Design to come and design our place. That would be great. Dream on.

Avery's taken to picking stickers off of things. Garage sales price stickers, stickers on produce, stickers on library books. I was going to pay for something at a garage sale and noticed Avery with multiple prices on her pants :). Hee, hee, sorry lady. The good thing is, she is very entertained by a page of stickers during church.

Zachery is becoming a better helper to me lately and is enjoying playing with Avery a little more. He is growing fast and it makes me just want to squeeze him and enjoy the moment. I'm a huge chunk of his world right now and that will change, so I'll just cherish it now. He is a sponge and he needs a trained professional to dump book learning on him. Now I'm excited for him. :) He's been working on writing letters and is very excited to take his backpack to preschool, even if it's only to hold a change of clothes ;).

I did a picture wall at our house where I painted all the frames black (I had a bunch already and didn't want to buy all new ones but I wanted it to match.) This really unified the group of pictures and looks pretty good (if I do say so myself!:)

I love this post! It's so funny that Avery is all into stickers, so is little Joely. She can't get enough of them. I buy out the dollar stores to keep her quiet in Sacrament, it works except for the last 15 minutes or if there is a rest hymn, and she thinks it's time to go after that- oy vey. Is this yourlast year with your son before he goes off to the mean streets of kindergarten?

Kareena, yes, Zach is in preschool this year and all day kindergarten next year. What is Joely doing?
