Eric has been working on a swing set for about 2 weeks now, and it's now done! Thank you Eric! and Avery for making it possible. :) I told Zachery that Avery was getting a swing set and wanted to share it with him. He said, "Aw, that's so nice!". :) Zach has been eagerly "helping" Eric build and he is loving it! If you're in the neighborhood, come on over and take a swing ride.
Avery is doing well, okay she has a small cold, but what else in new? She prefers to crawl, rather than to try walking, but I'm plugging away despite her protests.
Can a pillow be too big? I've been waking up with sore shoulders, for 2 months now. What is the deal? I'm thinking that it is a big pillow, so I'm going to try sleeping without. ...Yikes, now that's roughing it. ;) I hope it helps.
I want to have a chocolate chip cookie contest. Who has the best cookie recipe? Butter vs. margerine vs. crisco, brown or white sugar, what to do? The winner gets.... a slight pooch belly from eating all the deliciousness. jk I'll post my favorite recipe, and I promise to try any recipies you send my way.
On another note, I saw some fireflies for the first time this year this last week! That's one thing I love about being east of the mississippi! :) It's the small things.

OK, I totally have a fabulous cookie recipe -- got it from my counselor in Primary here and it's awesome. I'll email it to you!!
And I too have ongoing pillow issues. I don't know what the answer there is, but when you find it, let me know. My upstairs closet has a zillion pillows in it, each used once or twice. Ack.
Maybe you should just go to walmart and get a smaller $5 pillow. I don't think no pillow is going to help.

That's so fun! Aaron just finished building our kids a swingset and treehouse and I'm wondering how I kept them entertained before. They love it! Can't wait to see the cookie winner! Personally, I use Kim Thomas's choc. chip cookie recipe.
Ok you Have to use butter- and when you add the dry ingredients, gently stir them in with a wooden spoon, dont' use a hand mixer.
I'll send you my recipe too. I love chocolate chip cookies.
I love fireflies too. We have a fun swing set we LOVE, even David and his friends run all over it.
