It's the Small Things that Make us Happy

Today we had a small miracle. A miracle to me anyway. :) Zachery sat on the potty chair and went and later tonight did again, with better results and even got out of the bath tub to sit on the potty, with results!!! This is huge for him. I kept telling him how proud I was of him. We've been trying, really, for a couple weeks now and with 2 different tactics, we are seeing better results. The first is praying about it, with Zach. The second is using 2 of his teddy bears to cheer him on using a sort of hill-billy accent. He loves the bears and I think would almost eat vegetables for them. :)

I didn't understand the trials of the potty training, until one is in the midst of it. Hooray for Zach!

It should be smooth sailing from now on, once they "get it" they are usually really good about doing it, but you have to have the patience to wait until they "get it"-- Congrats, it's one of those miracles you can't believe what a big deal it is until it happens to you!!!!

Yay Zach!! At least now he knows exactly what it is that you want him to do -- I remember that only too well.

It definitely is a mama miracle! (and nobody deserves one of those more than you do!)

Potty training is definitely a process. It is a major step when they are motivated to get and the toilet and something actually happens, so yay for that!

Hang in there- potty training is really low on my list of fun things to do! When they get it though it is sooo- nice!

Good for Zach! Potty training is awful when you are in the middle of it. I'll be cheering you both on from Indiana.
